A standard inloader carries around four tonnes more tare weight. When transporting indivisible concrete walls, that is a significant difference. In practice, the weight saving can mean transporting three walls instead of two, or two instead of one.
This allows the available payload to be used more efficiently and enables projects to be completed with fewer transport movements.

three loading configurations
The VFL-45 combines a load floor height of just 280 millimetres with a loading width of 1,240 millimetres. With a few simple accessories, the trailer can be used in three different configurations:
- High walls up to approximately 10 metres, loaded between the axles
- Long walls up to approximately 14 metres, loaded over the gooseneck
- Extremely high walls up to 4.5 metres, loaded diagonally

With a tare weight of 7,940 kilograms and a maximum permitted gross weight of 45 tonnes, the VFL-45 combines a high payload with optimal axle-load distribution. Depending on the load, the trailer can be operated with either a 4x2 or 6x2 tractor unit.
The lift axle improves manoeuvrability. Air suspension, a low-maintenance treated chassis and optional ferry lashing points also make the trailer suitable for intensive use and unaccompanied ferry transport.
